Conejo Valley Days, April 28 through May 2, is held at the 23 Freeway, Janss Road exit. Parking "behind" the midway and carnival will not be available. Instead, many fairgoers will be asked to park across Janss Road in the Thousand Oaks Library/Teen Center/Goebel Center parking lots. A tram on loan from the Pomona Fairplex and a bus will make continual roundtrips from the parking lots to the fairgrounds. The tram and bus rides are free and will make several stops around the fairgrounds. They will begin operating one hour before the opening of CVD each day until one hour after closing. "Shuttle Bus" pick up and drop off signs will be posted in the parking lots and fair entrances. "A lot of people are happy to hear they'll be able to park in a regular parking lot instead of dirt," says Calcut. "It will certainly keep the vehicles clean." CVD hours are Wednesday and Thursday,
April 28 and 29, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. |
